Lair of Kierra

Lair of Kierra
Nested in the southern section of the Ghost Tree Swamp, another new map called Lair of Kierra awaits mid-level players (above levels 70) with brand new challenges.
Some of the mobs appears to be beefed-up version of those found in lower level maps like the Captain Lizardmen and the voluptious Lamia Queens.
Lair of Kierra is a dead end, similar to HC2F. Once you are inside, you stay there to finish your quests and return to the Ghost Tree Swamp when you are done.
Layout of Lair of Kierra
There are some other “species” of of Tarantulas found here and one of them even had a tail resembling the telson and venom-injecting barb of a scorpion.
Outwardly the mobs here bears destructive looks but as you take them on, you’ll agree that they are quite easy to grind.
The path leading into Lair of Kierra
is clean and green
Level 75 Black Fur Tarantula; ferocious
looking but pretty harmless
The flamboyant level 76 Mudman; fond
of dancing while being attacked
The level 77 Giant Tarantula with red heels
Black Mudman is level 79 and they loiter
around the cave section
Here’s one familiar face, the level 80 Captain
Lizardman. Does this mob drops any red
colored designer Lizardman costumes?
Here’s the hero, the level 78 Fatally Poisonous
Tarantula. Check out its telson-like tail with
a venomous barb
It attacks with its barb, striking from the top
And horizontally …
Yikes! Ouch…
The brown mermaid, level 83 Lamia Queen
And the slightly elderly looking, level 82
Sorrowful Lamia, with grey hair
Here we are, another familiar face, the level 81
Darkness Gnoll

and dont forget about Kierra boss – which is great ocasion to get lucky77 3rd every week.
to find her you need to log just after maintance end – she respawn at Deadly Hill on one random channel.
If you made one hit on kierra and wont die until other players kill it – you’d get a lucky 3rd box.
After Kierra dead – there is a great ocasion to sell your box to box-hungry high level killers of kierra at kierra lair for a fair price
If I get the box, I’m gonna keep and open it myself.

I’ll take it slow.
And i didnt have much time either.
Using 8-10 month to reach lvl 75 is fine for me.
LoL.
8-10 months to reach lvl 75??? Hello pal, if you are playing in Crescent, the level cap here is 120, unlike level 78 back in Kierra server.
Most of our top players in Slytherin touched level 60 in less than 2 months. And many are racing for our next job change within the next few weeks.
Gawd knows what’s gonna happen 8-10 months from now.
What about your bcRicky4? You decide to give up your Warrior/Infantry? Unlike Kierra, here in Crescent the top PVP-ers are mostly from the Fighter’s path. May be it is because of skill settings in this server but I’m not sure but what is certain is Fighters reign in Crescent.
to bcwl:
i prefer mixture of strength(STR) and dexterity(DEX) rather than pure STR. believe me, pure STR isn’t the best option…
I tend to agree with Glorioux. Any character that follows a “pure” path is never a strong character. I cannot see how maximum STR helps if you are going to “miss” becoz of low DEX. And low DEX also means others will not “miss” when attacking u. I’m never played a rogue before but I think the principles are the same. In my job as an Infantry, I increase my DEX to a decent level so that when I attack I don’t miss, and when others attack me, they miss.
Just like pure VIT tankers are never the strongest built, I believe pure STR rogues are similar. What’s the point of having loads of HPs, when others attack you they do good criticals on you or in the case of a rogue, what’s the point of possessing high STR if you are defenseless when being attacked or if you are gonna miss every shot u take.
LoL…i have study it b4. About ranger skill.
When u reach lvl 75. u will get 6 level of zephyr buffs, critical passive, evasion passive and accurate passive. By the way, just bow train and burning rage that add phy atk(Str).
Human rogue pure STR = add 74 str to 60 str = 135 str at lvl 75.
And for dex , zephyr lvl 6 + 60 dex to 70 dex =
130 dex for lvl 75.
So its almost equal between these 2 stats. And some options i can choose is from the armor see whatever stat i less.
About bcricky4 ..
This build is the strongest in my opinion but only when u reach RK.
This build can kill all jobs if u control u sleeps and stun-lock prefectly. But dont sleep rogues, PvP rogue STRAIGHT stun and hit him.
I try it b4 at celestia.
Result = IT CAN KILL ALL JOBS.
I plan to be archer bcoz it is fast lvling and easy for me. Bcoz i dont have much time to train a so hybridic charac to lvl 75(bcricky4).
Yes, RK is a strong character. But to say it can kill all jobs, that’s a bit of an overstatement. Perhaps here in Crescent, fighters have an edge over mages. For instance, Blizzard magic works slightly different here. After freezing, the minute the mage initiates an attack, the freeze breaks. This is just one example.
Like you said it, RK can win if it stun-locks perfectly. Say if I have a total DEX of 200, how are you going to perfectly stun-lock me all the time?
MysTVerN is building a fighter/warrior/infantryman/Rune Knight and once he reaches lvl 75, I will see if he can bring me down. By that time I will most likely turned into a Phalanx, my usual preferred path.
I don’t think any character is designed to be more superior than another. The stronger ones will most likely be due to carefully designed skills and stats coupled with godly eqs like the permanent costumes.
A powerful archer, if properly trained, can also destroy a RK with a few blows too. We have seen too many RKs being defeated back in Kierra.
Yes, only if its work well on stun-lock and sleeps .
It only can kill all jobs.
But not 100% win all jobs.
But this is a best pvp character i tried so far.
The thumb rule I follow is:-
a) Choose and max up only 2 single attack magical skills. You don’t need more than 2 magic skills for solo leveling, and you practically can’t utilize more than 2 magical skills during PVP.
b) Whatever stun or sleep skills your job offers you, select and max it. Anything that causes your opponent to stall even for a few seconds, is helpful.
c) Identify your armors; light, heavy or robe. Then max your respective armor expertise. Max armor expertise is crucial for max defenses.
d) If you train without a pet, choose 2 more AOE magical skills but don’t max them. Just add up to the level you feel is comfortable for you to sweep mobs relatively fast during training.
e) If you train with pets, choose a magical support path for your pet if you have strong AOE skills. And choose physical attack or magical attack paths if you have good attract skills. Your pet is suppose to be the “opposite” of you, and NOT to be the same as you in terms of job paths.
f) Lastly, pay attention to your physical defense and magical defense. Both defenses have to be as high as possible; strong physical defense to ward off fighters and strong magical defense to protect you from mages or rogues.
In Kierra, most players believe that fighters/warriors are the weakest of all characters but I certainly do not agree. The reason is simply becoz none of us ever paid any attention to increasing WISDOM which is crucial for magical defense. For this reason, we tend to die quickly in PVP despite our high VIT, becoz opponents hit us well by attacking where we are at the weakest; magical.
Here is Crescent, most fighters have strong levels of WISDOM and they keep their accessories up to the highest possible level. With this combination, it is very difficult for mages or rogues to come close to victory in the event of PVPs.
Again, if you are going to train up a strong rogue, the principles are the same although the combination of stats and skills may be entirely different. Use common sense when deciding what to add and what not to add. Never listen to rumors.
ya i know it…i got tes it b4.
but for ranger, tis charac is just unlike others.
u can always ask me for some tips(regarding long-ranged classes, like Mage and Rogue), i’ll help a guy like u HaHaHa XD…
reply for previous comment:
trying to equalize ur 2 stats(DEX 1 : STR 1), hmmm…that’s not a good way to build ur ranger either…
as a bow user, u don’t have to sacrifice accuracy for overpowering damage output(STR). u’ll lose efficiency using skills if u do , just like my archer back then in kierra.
my strategy of class building is simple, i conserve half of stat points(SP) for later adjustment to maximize my character’s skills’ damage(or rather, effectiveness of skills, without missing a target
). the rest of the SP are DEX,which give me decent accuracy as well as evasion.
how bout i build it full str and make up with a strong dex armor? does it works better?
Or i equal (str: 1 dex: 1) stats and pair up with an str,dex equal armor.
Usually i like to Max (pure) on 1 stats and do another stats on armor n weapon just like the RK build: Full vit pair up with a full str armor and i dont care about vit (opal) anymore. In my opinion,
this seems to be easier no need headache.==
OK…Last decision Pure Str DENIED!
EVOLUTION TO (STR:1 DEX:1)
to bcwl:D
1 thing for sure, with equal stats u can’t deliver “optimum power” (>.<")
'Use common sense when deciding what to add and what not to add' – by Evander
look familiar to this sentence?? evander's got a point. so why do u need to make an equal stats? for conveniency? meh~ (*_*)
although u can make upgraded armor parts for extra stats, unless u can't afford to buy that many jewels for small and temporary improvement.(this method seems not very good too, since every upgrade the result is not always constant, & after achieved few levels, u eventually change another set of armor for greater def, which is essential. u need to perform another upgrade for ur job as u desire to become stronger character, upgrading is always depends on ur luck & cash) ($o$)
LoL, u r confusing our bcwl95.
If I’m playing archer, I would probably max up my DEX and leave STR to be added later via upgrades and bonus eq stats.
Rubies are much cheaper than Emeralds.
shall we make another post for jobs discussion :3, it will be grateful for newbies who need guides.
