About PK Mode

PK mode is a game feature in Luna Online, and it is perfectly legal to turn red to kill others, though Slytherin does not condone its members to go PK. Many questions were raised regarding PK Mode and here we highlight some of the pros and cons about PK mode.

As long as you stay within the channel in which you started your PK mode, what you do shall be legit and legal. If you follow the person whom you are attacking when he or she switched channels, it is player harassment and this is not legal. Doing so will get you temporarily banned if the other player lodges a harassment report against you. Repeated offense will result in a permanent ban on your account. Slytherin members embarking on PK activities are on their own and do not expect other guild members to provide backup assistance if you are mobbed by others for what you are doing. But if you are attacked by other PKers, your guild leaders will generally offer help to stave off PKers that are troubling you. These are 2 guild rules Slytherin practiced for quite some time.

In order for one player to attack another player, the attacker needs to enter PK mode. The rewards/penalties are currently as follows:

• Player A (PK mode on) kills Player B (PK mode on): Player A has a chance to receive gold or one of the items from Player B’s inventory. Player B will lose EXP on death.
• Player A (PK mode on) kills Player B (PK mode off): Player A has a small chance to receive gold from player B. Player B will have no death penalty.
• Player A (PK mode off) kills Player B (PK mode on): Player A has a chance to receive gold, one of Player B’s equipped items, or an item from Player B’s inventory. Player B will lose EXP on death.

Other resources on PK Mode:-

• If, by some rare chance, both players manage to kill each other, both players would suffer the same penalty, and have a chance to receive items from one another, depending on their PK settings.
• When in PK mode, you are not allowed to change maps, interact with NPCs or any other players.
• PK mode will last about 20-30 minutes, subject to different server settings.
• You will lose more EXP when you die in PK mode, and lose even more if you are killed after killing other players.
• If someone in PK mode tries to kill you, but instead you killed him, there will be no penalty for you.
• Killing someone who is in PK mode will let you get some of his gold and an item in his bag.
• Killing 1 player when you are in PK mode will add 10 minutes more to your PK mode duration

In short, there are more disadvantages going PK rather than advantages. So think twice before you turn red.
